If this is supposed to be a funny, I don't get it. All it seems like to me is that already screwed up parents are receiving encouragement and maybe even justification that behaviour like this towards their children is not only fine, but perfectly normal. We live in one appalling world.
I have to agree with Lauren. How is this supposed to be funny? By your title "Looking forward to the future", are you suggesting you look forward to this as a future parent? Maybe you'll figure it out someday when you become an actual parent. At least I hope and pray you do.
Are you nuts? There is nothing funny about this. If this is a reflection of your tastes, you don't seem to have any. If you are seeking to get anyone's respect, it might be prudent to take this post down!
