Christmas and a Funeral

Merry Christmas everyone...it's a day early but i wont' be writing this on Christmast so there it is...have fun doing whatever it is you do and have a Happy New Year if i don't talk to you before

Let's see i've been home one week and i'm bored out of my skull...my family has successfully driven me up the wall...i went to my grade 8 reunion party...i know it sounded weird to me too but there we were in Boston Pizza having a few beers which was weird cuz the last time i saw these people i was barely a teenager and that is no longer the case

In much sadder news....Orlando the guitar is dead...his head warped and cracked so severely that it is irrepairable (made-up?)...so say your goodbyes to him and now i have no guitar to play cuz Elle is dead...which i also foudn out when i got home...so baring a tuition miracle i will be without a guitar...which i hate and makes me cringe but what can i do...have a moment of silence for Orlando

Another semester done...I'd like to take this time to look back and remember the good times that happened...just kidding...not saying that there weren't any good memories there were lots of them...I'm just not the kind of guy that gets sentimental...i promised myself i wouldn't cry so there...just kidding...but seriously...moving on

My exams are done and I'm going home...home home not dorm home but actual home...Kitchener Ontario...Mini America...where it's currently 7 degress...well it was when i checked 15 minutes ago...LadyChoco took over and i didn't get the comp back while she was procrastinating with it...but anyways...yeah it's 7 degrees at home you know what that means...no?...you don't know what i mean?...well that means boys and girls that i'm wearing shorts on Christmas day for all of you...you can think of that when you're opening presents...well after you open them and everything is finished think of me in shorts...on a beach just for fun

But for now i'm in Deadmonton where things are quiet because LadyChoco leaves in a couple hours from now...where the winning streak is at one...the food is bad and only getting worse...but man can that deepfrier ever trun out tasty food...mhmm...where the Oilers are bad and the fans are worse...jsut kidding but seriously...but i'm leaving in 48 hours...and then the city will be hit with the biggest cold snap of the year because i'm taking the sun with me

THE BIG 20

That's right it's here that kid that looks like he's 16 is now 20...i don't feel older...but someone continues to point out now that i'm an old man...but i can deal with that...because 20 doesn't bother me...except for one thing and here goes

Would all the Punk Rock Princesses and Garage Band Kings raise your glasses to the death of teen angst...it's gone...not like i ever had it but that's not important...it's over my excuse for listening to bands like Dashboard Confessional, Jimmy Eat World, Over It, Something Corporate, Roses are Red, The Beautiful Mistake, Backstreet Boys and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus...i must move on to Neil Diamond...before he was bad...Kenny G, The Mamas and the Papas and the Beach Boys...who are amazing in concert i must say...but no more teen angst...but i'm okay with that cuz now i'm on to Depression and i can get medicated for that

One Tree Hill...finished watching the second season today...it was great and good times except for all the drama, heartache, moving on and moving out oh and don't forget the fire...i like OTH it makes me smile and makes me realize two things my life could be a lot more dramatic and girls are confusing everywhere...lol

Crossing Another Starting Line

It's funny you've been striving for something for a long time and then when it happens you realize you didn't cross a finish line...far from it...you're just starting at a different point...but i'm just happy that i'm not running from this point alone...i have someone running with me...and it's comforting that i have someone there to help me during the journey and i'm there for her

It's like i've woken up in a dream really...i have a new pulse in life...it's a second wind that i haven't lost yet...the Luther paper has become so easy to write now...get your punches in now cuz i can take it and laugh it off because problems just seem smaller now...I'm just glad that God gave me patience and persistance and her...i won't listen to the song "Walking By" by Something Corporate anymore cuz it didn't happen
